Bittersweet Farewell

Yesterday, I had the opportunity to go hear my "big sister" give her farewell talk. She is leaving on December 1st to go to Managua, Nicaragua for her mission. It was a hard day for me. I cried all through church and even more on the way home. I am sad that she will be gone for so long but I am so thankful that I have her in my life. She has always taken care of me and been such a good example to me. She will be an amazing missionary. I am so proud of her for making the choice to serve and I can't wait to start hearing all of her stories about people she meets.

BLACK FRIDAY!!

The most dreaded day of the year for people who work in retail. Unfortunately, that would be me. Well, kinda. People aren't concerned with getting haircuts at 5:00am. So I sat in my little store and had some delicious Thanksgiving leftovers.

This time of the year always gets me feeling sort of depressed, as it does with many other people. But for some reason this year seems a bit different. I have been asking myself questions. Trying to figure out who I am and where I am going with my life. Hard questions. What if?? To be quite honest, I think I may be going crazy. I need a change. A BIG change. Ideas anyone?
